MEP Request to Raise the Issue of India Breaking its Moratorium on the Deathly Penalty at EU Parliament

Reply from Marina Yannakoudakis MEP:

Please be aware that since our last correspondence, I have sent a priority question, under the European Parliament's Rules of Procedure (Rule 117, 4,) to The EU´s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Vice President of the European Commission Catherine Ashton, regarding allegations that India may be preparing to break its moratorium on the death penalty. I have also written to the Home Affairs Minister in Delhi.

Please see PQ and letter attached for your attention.

Kind regards,
Marina Yannakoudakis MEP
